AIRPORT: If you
have not secured a visa on your passport in your home country,
please go to the visa counter at the terminal prior to going through
passport control. Please present the SOFEX introduction letter to
the immigration officer or inform the officer that you are
exhibiting at or visiting SOFEX. Please ensure that the officer has
stamped the entry date on your passport.
If you have not booked an airport pick-up service, you can hire one
of the taxis available at the airport. The taxi fare to Amman should
be approximately 25JD (around US$35.50).
SHUTTLE BUSES TO THE EXHIBITION SITE:
The shuttle bus schedule will be available at your hotel’s concierge
counter (at official
SOFEX Hotels) and on our website.
SECURITY: The security checks
that you will go through at the exhibition and conference sites are
for your own safety. Your cooperation and patience are greatly
appreciated.
THE CONFERENCE: The Middle East
Special Operations Conference will be held at the Le Royal Hotel at 08:30 on May the 10th. Please
arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the designated time.
THE EXHIBITION: If you have
pre-registered and have received your badge before your departure,
please proceed to the security centre with your photo ID. Otherwise
please go to the registration centre to collect your badge; you will
be asked to show a photo ID and your business card.
INTERNET CONNECTION: Free
Wireless internet connection is available throughout the SOFEX
Exhibition site.
SHOW DAILY MAGAZINE: Copies of
the SOFEX / IHS Jane’s Show Daily magazine will be distributed every
morning at the site’s entrances. Copies will also be available at

PRESS: The press center is
located on the upper floor in Hall 3. All press releases will be
distributed in your organization’s shelf. You will be able to send
and receive faxes as well as use the photocopying, computing,
printing and scanning facilities as well as benefit from wireless
internet connection.
BUSINESS CENTER: The business
center is located on the upper floor in Hall 3. You will be able to
send and receive faxes as well as use the photocopying, computing,
printing and scanning facilities including the benefit of wireless
internet connection and the use of Royal Jordanian Airline and
Skynet service Desks.
