VISA: An entry
visa will be required to enter Jordan, we advise you to contact the
Jordan embassy in your country. A number of countries may obtain the
entry visa from the airport upon arrival.
Entry visa fees are JD10.00 (around US$14.00) for single entry and
JD 20.00 (around US$28.00) for multiple entries. The visa fees need
to be paid in cash and in Jordanian Dinars. Credit cards and check
payments will not be accepted. An exchange agent will be present at
the terminal.
PASSPORT: Please note that a
valid passport is mandatory to enter Jordan. Your passport should be
valid for at least 6 months to enter the country.
WHEN TO ARRIVE?: Plan to arrive
no later than May 9th if you are attending the Middle East Special
Operations Conference, which will be held on May 10. If you are not
attending the conference, plan to arrive before the exhibition
opening on May 11.
CUSTOMS: If you are carrying any equipment that needs customs
clearance, please inform the SOFEX Official Freight Forwarder (GLFS/DB-Schenker)
to facilitate and handle the customs clearance procedures for you.
ACCOMMODATION: Please ensure
that you have reserved and confirmed your accommodation prior to
your departure. If you have not secured a room as yet, please
contact our Central Reservation Contractor Petra Tours, using the

THE CONFERENCE: The Middle East
Special Operations Conference will be held at the Le Royal Hotel in Amman, the Capital. The Conference attendees are VIP
delegates and invitation card holders only, if you wish to attend
the conference please register by visiting the conference link on
our website. The conference agenda is available on our website (click
here) and shuttle buses will provide transport from all
the Official SOFEX hotels to the venue.
THE EXHIBITION: If you have
pre-registered and received your e-badge before your departure,
please remember to bring the badge with you. If you registered after
the deadline please remember to bring your registration confirmation
letter, this will save you waiting time for the onsite mandatory
security approvals. Please note that SOFEX is NOT open to the
general public. Admission is only granted to badge holders and upon
presentation of an acceptable photo ID.
MANDATORY FORMS: Please ensure
that the responsible person at your company has completed and sent
the mandatory forms requested in the exhibitor manual. Please refer
to the (Form) section for a list of these forms.

SHUTTLE BUSES: A Shuttle bus
service will be provided from our Official hotels to all SOFEX
events. If your company will require this service make sure you fill
in the “shuttle bus” icon, this service is provided on complementary
basis for all our exhibitors.
